I got a quote from ACS via Reallymoving.com. After that, I contacted David via email and he provided me a sample report. For me, the report is not as fancy as those from some other surveyors, but it is clear enough for me to understand the key issues. So I instructed ACS on Tuesday 18th Aug with some questions I would like to ask him to check. David booked a slot with the estate agency directly on the coming Monday 24th Aug. I had a phone call with David on Monday, he managed to answer all the questions I raised in the email, and told me some issues I missed. The whole process was done in a week, and it was smooth, and worry-free. I found David very professional and efficient, so highly recommended from me.

Service used: Building survey + valuation. Website feedback: Good website for comparisons and for vetted good quality Surveyors. Supplier used: ACS Property Consultants Supplier Feedback: David was very proactive in approaching me when I was going through the initial screening of surveyors referred to me by the really moving website. From the initial email David explained the whole process in layman’s terms and having already pre-empted the questions a home owner could have about the survey, the email explained the process including what was included in the survey and what was not. Having read the email and after speaking with David I had no hesitation in going with David and I am very happy that I did so because the service received was excellent. David contacted the estate agent and promptly scheduled the earliest available date for the survey. This relived me of running around to get a survey date scheduled in. The survey was done promptly on time and report was with me in a couple of working days which was very comprehensive and detailed and to be honest as most building survey reports , was in many areas quite technical for me to understand. David took out time to talk me through the report and patiently explained to me the nature of defects identified. The service I received from point I received the report and leading up to the follow up conversations I had to understand the reports was both highly professional and also empathetic. Professional as it covered all aspects of the survey with the highest degree of professionalism and technical acumen and empathetic as David understood the vulnerable position a home buyer is in and gave his honest and expert opinion on issues identified. As a result of the survey, I was able to get a reduction in price which was more realistic of the state of the property. I would highly recommend David and ACS property consultant for any surveys. Thanks David and keep up the great work.

Initial discussions indicated that the survey could be scheduled within days but in the event, after instruction, it took longer, but when it was done, the survey report was produced quite soon after. The survey report was comprehensive and easy to understand. The survey highlighted issues which were important to be dealt with in the transaction. Promptness of response: David was one of the quickest to respond to my enquiry and was able to perform the survey within days which met our needs. Quality of service: The level of detail provided in the report was accurate, detailed and provided sufficient details for our decisions to be based upon. Value for money: The quote offered by ACS was the cheapest, which wouldn’t usually draw my attention, however after reading feedback on a few sites, I went with ACS and they offered a very good service, quick turnaround of report and overall the best value for money in my opinion. Professionalism: David was professional throughout even helping with some further queries we had and offered some sound advice before we paid for further surveys saving us money in the end.
